Anchored Fence & Gates was founded in 2020 with one goal in mind: to bring long-lasting, high-quality fences to families and businesses in Georgia.

Our owner brings over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, along with a background of service as an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Coast Guard. His eight years in the Coast Guard stationed him in the Florida Keys, where he learned the value of precision, discipline, and resilience—qualities that continue to guide our work today.

After his service, he studied at the University of West Georgia and Armstrong University in Savannah, GA. A former Coast Guard roommate and close friend, who had become an attorney, later recruited him back to Key West, where together they purchased a local fence company previously owned by firefighters. Over three years of growing that company, he gained hands-on experience in the fence industry and developed a deep knowledge of what makes a fence stand the test of time.

Key West presented unique challenges, with hurricanes demanding fence systems built to far higher standards. Techniques like mortise-and-tenon joinery and wet-mixing concrete in every post hole became the foundation of his craft. When he later returned to his hometown of Douglasville, GA, he quickly noticed that many fences in the area were poorly built and designed only for speed, not longevity.

Determined to change that, he founded Anchored Fence & Gates to provide customers with a true alternative—fences built with care, integrity, and craftsmanship. Our fences are designed to last, incorporating proven methods learned in Florida’s toughest conditions.

Today, our family-owned and Coast Guard–managed company is proud to serve the Winston, GA area and beyond. For the past five years, we’ve been building fences that not only secure properties but also build better neighbors. Together with his wife, and while raising their twin boys as part of a family of six, he remains committed to treating every customer with fairness, respect, and honesty—values that are at the heart of everything we do.
