The devil went down to Georgia,
He was lookin’ for a soul to steal,
He was in a bind, just lookin’ to find,
Some workers who’d make him a deal.
When he came across this young man,
With a crew out in the hot sun,
He said, “Boy, let me tell you somethin’,
You may not know how it’s done.”

“I’ve been buildin’ fences for years,
With the highest output in the biz,
I pay my workers dirt, yeah, it really hurts,
But my profits are all that I miss!
I’ve got crews that don’t know nothin’,
But they work for slave wages, don’t care,
I’ll get this fence built faster than you,
With no concern for quality there!”

Tommy UTaw from Anchored Fence,
He just laughed and said, “You’ll see,
I build a fence with pride and class,
Quality’s the key to me!”
So the devil, he got mad, real mad,
And he said, “You’re just a fool,
I’ll take you on and show you how
A real fence company rules!”

So the devil said, “I challenge you,
To a big ol’ fence-off game,
Bring your crew, I’ll show you how
You won’t survive the flame!”
Tommy said, “Alright, let’s go,
We’ll build it with skill and care,
And you’ll be wishin’ you had learned,
That quality’s beyond compare.”

Now the devil, he called up the worst,
He hired landscapers cheap and quick,
They didn’t know a thing about fence posts,
But they’d make the devil’s trick stick.
They threw up a fence with no plan at all,
And used nails and boards that bent,
The devil smirked as he saw the fence rise,
But Tommy just shook his head and bent.

Tommy’s crew, they worked with skill,
Two men, real seasoned pros,
They dug deep holes and set them right,
As the devil’s crew just froze.
They used the best tools, the finest wood,
With care in every touch,
And when they finished, Tommy stepped back,
And the devil couldn’t say much.

The devil looked at Tommy’s fence,
And then he glanced at his own,
His cheap work was crooked, his posts all leaned,
He knew he was outshone.
He walked up to Tommy, head hung low,
And said, “You built a better one,
I’ve never seen such quality,
Your team just got the job done.”

So the devil went back to Georgia,
His ego bruised and small,
He learned the hard way that quality,
Can’t be bought with the cheapest call.
Tommy UTaw stood tall and proud,
With Anchored Fence at the top,
Because when it comes to work that’s real,
You know who’s gonna rock!

And the devil had to admit,
